Ras Muhammad, a nature reserve at the very tip of the Sinai Peninsula, is considered one of the finest diving and snorkelling destinations in the world. Here the waters of the Gulf of Suez and the Gulf of Aqaba meet, creating unique currents that sustain the richest coral ecosystems - home to hundreds of species of fish, sea turtles, rays, and reef sharks.
White Island, a small snow-white island a few miles offshore, is famous for its extraordinary water clarity. The yacht makes snorkelling stops at Yolanda Reef, Shark Reef, and Bereika Bay. Lunch is prepared on board. You can add a dive with an instructor for an extra charge - even if you have never dived before.
The group is small, and the vessel is comfortable with a sunshade. Departure in the morning, return by evening. Passport photocopies are required in advance for the reserve entry permit.

Tour itinerary: Yacht: Ras Muhammad + White Island
- 1Hotel pick-up (~08:00) - transfer to the port. Journey up to 30 minutes depending on your hotel's location. Exact pick-up time confirmed after booking.
- 2Board the yacht (~09:00) - departure from Sharm El Sheikh central marina towards Ras Muhammad reserve. We recommend bringing your own mask, snorkel, and fins - hire on board is $5 per item.
- 3Yolanda Reef, Shark Reef and Bereika Bay - snorkelling stop at the reserve's legendary reefs. The guide introduces you to marine life right in the water. Duration around 1 hour. Even children can manage with a life jacket.
- 4White Island - stop at the snow-white island. You swim ashore (around 50–100 metres). Photo session and time on the island, approximately 30 minutes. The sensation of standing in the middle of the open sea.
- 5Lunch on board - a buffet with several dishes, drinks included. Time to relax on deck under the sunshade.
- 6Additional swimming stop - a second chance to snorkel or simply swim. The guide decides on the day: two one-hour stops or one longer stop.
- 7Return to port (~16:00–16:30) - passage back to Sharm El Sheikh, transfer to hotel.

Honestly, this was one of the most beautiful days of the entire holiday. The water is simply unreal - so clear you can see every detail. At the first stop I was a little nervous because I hadn't snorkelled in years, but within a couple of minutes I'd forgotten my fear entirely. So many fish, the corals are bright, just like in the films. White Island was a world of its own - the feeling of standing in the middle of the sea. My only wish was a little more time at the last stop, but overall the day was perfect. I'd go again without a moment's hesitation.
I didn't expect it to be so beautiful. I thought it was just a boat trip - it turned out to be a full-on experience. The reefs are stunning; you can tell the spots have been chosen with care. I snorkelled at almost every stop - it's genuinely addictive. White Island was the highlight; the photos came out like an advertisement. If anything, there were quite a few people on the yacht, but it didn't bother me. Overall, this excursion is absolutely worth the price.
White Island is something from another world. You walk through shallow water across white sand in the middle of the open sea, turquoise water all around - the sense of unreality is total. I took the best photos of my whole holiday there. Snorkelling on the reefs was also excellent - bright corals, masses of fish. Comfortable yacht. Guide knows the route perfectly. One of the best days in Sharm - without exaggeration.
I booked it for the snorkelling at the Ras Muhammad reefs - I didn't expect White Island to make such an impression. Two completely different experiences in one day. The reefs are excellent - vibrant, alive, fish totally unafraid. And White Island is simply a postcard: white sand, blue sky, turquoise sea. Transfer on time. Lunch was decent. I'd recommend it to anyone still undecided - stop thinking and just book.
