The new Grand Egyptian Museum is one of the most significant travel events in years. Twenty years in the making, it opened beside the Giza Pyramids and immediately topped global rankings. 45,000 square metres of exhibition space, modern architecture, interactive halls, and for the first time the complete collection of Tutankhamun's treasures brought together in one place - more than 5,000 objects, many of which had never before been displayed to the public.
Departing Sharm el-Sheikh by comfortable coach, you travel across the Sinai Peninsula. On the Giza Plateau, three great pyramids and the Sphinx await. After exploring outside, you transfer to the Grand Museum, where an English-speaking guide leads you through the principal galleries: the Tutankhamun hall, the statuary gallery, and the chronological exhibition spanning the earliest dynasties to late-period Egypt.
Included: hotel transfer, comfortable coach, English-speaking guide, entrance tickets, and lunch. The trip takes approximately 20-24 hours.
For all tourists on group excursions, a white Toyota minibus provides hotel pick-up - transfer is included in the price.

The Grand Egyptian Museum is simply extraordinary. The architecture, the colossal statues along the entrance staircase, the feeling of an empire's might. When you step up to the panoramic windows and see the pyramids right there - goosebumps. Immaculate organisation, the day flew by. Cairo showed us a whole new side. I'll definitely be back with my family.
Still in awe of the GEM! The museum looks like a film set for the future, yet inside history is very much alive. Admiring ancient treasures in such a contemporary space is pure aesthetic pleasure. And the view of the pyramids through the enormous glass walls - love at first sight. Only here do you truly grasp their age and grandeur. I left with a full heart and a promise to return.
The Grand Egyptian Museum is staggering in scale. We spent several hours there and still didn't see everything. The Tutankhamun collection is incredible - so many artefacts in one place. The view of the pyramids through the glass walls creates an extraordinary feeling. The guide explained everything clearly and engagingly. Comfortable coach, punctual transfer. The best excursion of the whole holiday!
First time in Cairo - I chose this tour. No regrets. The Giza Pyramids in person are awe-inspiring - no photo captures their true scale. The Grand Museum also impressed with its modern presentation of such ancient artefacts. It's a packed day and you do feel tired, but in the best possible way. The guide was professional and answered every question. Lunch was included and delicious. Highly recommend.

✈️ Message on TelegramThe new Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is a landmark event on the global stage. Twenty years in the making, it opened beside the Giza Pyramids and became the largest museum in the world dedicated to a single civilisation. The exhibition galleries alone cover 45,000 square metres. The complete Tutankhamun collection has been transferred here - more than 5,000 objects, the majority of which had never previously been displayed to the public.
Imagine walking through a vast atrium where colossal pharaonic statues line the grand staircase. Before you unfolds an exhibition arranged chronologically, from pre-dynastic Egypt through to the late period. Each gallery is lit to highlight the detail of the artefacts. Interactive panels provide context. This is not a warehouse of treasures but a living narrative of a great civilisation.
The dedicated Tutankhamun gallery is the jewel of the museum. Everything is here: the golden sarcophagus, the funerary beds bearing images of goddesses, war chariots, jewellery, clothing, games, musical instruments. For the first time in 3,000 years the pharaoh's entire collection is in one place.
The Giza Pyramids stand just 2 kilometres from the museum, creating a unique context: having admired the treasures inside, you can see their creators outside. The combination of the new museum and the pyramid visit makes for an ideal day to understand Egyptian history in all its depth.
The Grand Museum is open year-round. The best time is early morning, when visitor numbers are lower. Weekdays are recommended. Winter (November to February) is the most comfortable season: pleasantly cool outside at the pyramids and not overly hot on the road.
An Egyptian visa is required. The museum is well air-conditioned, so bring a light layer. Food and drinks are available in the museum's rest areas. Photography is free in most galleries (except designated areas) without flash. Comfortable shoes are strongly recommended - there is a great deal of walking.
The Grand Museum is modern, spacious, with interactive displays and excellent lighting. The old museum is a historic building with atmosphere, but more compact. The Grand Museum holds the complete Tutankhamun collection.
A minimum of 2-3 hours. For a thorough visit with the guide - up to 4 hours. We allocate the optimal amount of time, covering the main exhibits.
