A friendly English-speaking guide providing a relaxed, informal tour with light commentary along the way - more of a companion than a lecturer. Ideal for those who want pleasant company and easy conversation without deep historical detail.
🎓 Option 3. $180 - Professional guide-narrator
An Egyptian guide with excellent English and deep knowledge of Ras Muhammad National Park. A full narrative tour covering the history of the Sinai Peninsula, coral ecology and marine wildlife. Ideal for those who want a genuine guided experience with real depth.

Probably the best day of the entire holiday. We went private and it is genuinely a different experience compared to a group tour. Nobody rushes you - you can swim, relax and take photos entirely at your own pace. The locations are stunning, especially the reefs: the water is crystal clear and you can see everything as if you were in an aquarium. The guide was with us in the water the whole time, which was a real bonus. It was hot - but that is Egypt and that is normal. The memories you come away with more than make up for it. I would go again without a second thought.
Went for the private format and absolutely do not regret it. Everything was calm - no crowds, no coaches, everything on our own terms. What I loved was being able to choose where to spend more time. The snorkelling was incredible - masses of fish, living coral. We had three different spots and they all felt genuinely different. The only thing I'd say is you do get a little tired by the end of the day because there is so much packed in - but that is actually a positive. If you can, go private.
Ras Muhammad by car is a brilliantly thought-out format. You can stop wherever you want and spend as long as you like at your favourite spots. Shore snorkelling with coral in excellent condition and masses of fish. The salt lake is unexpectedly beautiful. Manta Point with the birds. The guide knows the park inside out. For anyone who loves nature and snorkelling, this is the best way to experience Ras Muhammad.
Ras Muhammad is a completely different Egypt from the hotel strip. Wild nature, untouched reefs, birds. The snorkelling here is something special - visibility is enormous, the coral is alive and the fish do not shy away from people. The guide explained the park's ecosystem and it becomes clear why it is so carefully protected. Very glad we went by car - we managed to see several different spots in one day.
