The Sinai Desert is something else entirely when you experience it on a quad bike rather than through a bus window. Red sand, wind-carved rocks, a horizon without a single building, silence broken only by the sound of the engine. A quad bike gives you freedom: you can open up the throttle on a straight stretch, pick your way carefully down a rocky slope, or circle around a Bedouin camp.
A guided route through scenic desert terrain with stops at lookout points. A visit to a real Bedouin village: tea, a bite to eat, conversation about life in the desert. No one rides a quad bike without a briefing - everything is explained and demonstrated before you set off. No riding experience is needed; the machines are simple to handle.
Closed shoes are essential. A keffiyeh or buff for the dust. Sunglasses. Riders must be 10 or over; younger children travel as passengers.

Brilliant, exhilarating tour. A little nerve-wracking at first, but you get into it and then there is no stopping you. Riding through the desert with mountains and sand all around - absolutely stunning. The Bedouin village stop was great too, a really interesting experience. There is dust, so cover your face. But the feeling it gives you makes it completely worth it.
Great active tour. The quad bikes are decent - well maintained and comfortable to ride. Interesting route with plenty of open stretches to open up the throttle. Loved the views, especially at sunset. A little bumpy, but that is all part of it. Got exactly what I came for.
My first time on a quad bike - and I was instantly hooked. The machine is easy to handle and the guide explains everything in five minutes. Riding through the desert in convoy with the Sinai mountains all around is an incredible feeling of freedom. The Bedouin village is a world apart - tea, conversation, the simplicity of it all. And the sunset over the desert from up high - something else entirely. Would recommend to anyone looking for activity rather than a sun lounger.
Went as two of us - great decision. Two people on one quad bike is fine and it is a lot of fun. The desert track is good - not boring at all, with bends, hills and wide open stretches. The Bedouin village in the middle of the route is a brilliant spot - they serve you tea. The guide kept the pace comfortable and nobody fell behind. One of the highlights of the whole trip to Sharm.
