A buggy is the more serious option for those who find a quad bike a little tame. An open-frame sports vehicle with a powerful engine and high ground clearance, a buggy conquers terrain that a standard quad bike simply cannot manage: steep ascents, sand dunes and rocky mountain tracks. The feeling of speed and adrenaline is in a different league entirely.
The buggy convoy follows a route developed in collaboration with Bedouin guides who know the desert inside out. Stops at viewpoints with panoramic views of the mountains and the Red Sea. A visit to a Bedouin camp. Choose between a daytime or sunset route - the latter is particularly atmospheric. Children travel in the passenger seat.
Wear dust-proof clothing. Secure your camera properly. Tours run from 2 to 4 hours.
For all group tours, a white Toyota minibus collects guests - round-trip hotel transfer is included in the price.

Honestly, I had no idea it would be this much of a rush. I thought we'd just potter around the desert and that would be it - turns out it's so much better. The buggies are powerful, the speed is proper, and the adrenaline is real. There was no sense of being rushed - we had proper time out there. The viewpoint stops were brilliant, especially the elevated one overlooking the desert - the photos came out incredible. Bring a keffiyeh to cover your face from the dust - not a negative, just part of the atmosphere. An absolutely brilliant tour.
We hired the buggy as a pair - I was a bit nervous at first because I had never driven anything like it. But the guide explained everything clearly and it turned out to be much simpler than I expected. It feels like a proper little adventure: driving through the desert, mountains on all sides, wind in your face - pure joy. The Bedouin stop was brilliant too - tea, great atmosphere, laid-back and relaxed. The only thing I'd say is I wanted to go on for longer, because the time absolutely flew. One of the highlights of the entire trip.
Never ridden a buggy before - now I completely understand why it's so popular. Tearing through the desert with mountains on all sides and dust billowing up - it genuinely gets the blood pumping. The guide explained everything thoroughly before we set off, so handling the buggy was no problem. The Bedouin stop with tea and shisha was a lovely contrast after all that adrenaline. Came back absolutely beaming. Especially recommend it for couples - unforgettable.
Perfect activity if you've had enough of the beach. The buggies are powerful and the route is properly interesting - not just a flat straight road, there are climbs and bends. The guide made sure everyone kept their distance and nobody took unnecessary risks. The view of the Sinai mountains from the high point is genuinely stunning - got some great photos. Spent the rest of the day still buzzing. Bring something to cover your face from the dust - it really helps.

✈️ Message on TelegramBuggy safari is the more serious option for those who want a real desert adventure. If a quad bike is the desert's scooter, a buggy is its sports car. Open-frame body, powerful engine, high ground clearance - a buggy tackles terrain that no standard quad bike would attempt. Sand dunes, rocky mountain tracks, rugged cross-country terrain: all in a single route.
Buggy safari routes are designed in collaboration with experienced Bedouin guides who know the desert like home. You ride in convoy along scenic tracks, stop at viewpoints, and visit a Bedouin camp. The rush of speed, the scent of desert air, the view of the Red Sea from above - it stays with you.
The tour is suitable for a range of ages. Children travel in the passenger seat. Formats of 2 to 4 hours are available.
Bring water, a keffiyeh or scarf to protect your hair from sand, and sunglasses. A keffiyeh can be bought at your hotel for $1, or at the safari for $5.
