💵 Prepayment $200 per person
Three days before the tour, our company representative will visit your hotel, collect payment, and hand you an official voucher for that amount.

Luxor is a place where history is felt physically - underfoot, overhead, and around every corner. Ancient Thebes, capital of the New Kingdom of the pharaohs, was once the largest city in the world. On the West Bank of the Nile alone there are more than 60 royal tombs. Luxor is called the world's greatest open-air museum - and that is not a figure of speech.
The flight from Sharm El Sheikh takes roughly 1.5 hours. In one packed day you will see: the Karnak Temple complex (built over 1,500 years, with the Great Hypostyle Hall's 134 columns rising up to 23 metres), a wooden-boat crossing of the Nile, the Valley of the Kings with its royal tombs, the rock-cut Temple of Hatshepsut, and the colossal Colossi of Memnon. Throughout the day, an English-speaking guide explains the meaning of every hieroglyph and wall painting.
Restaurant lunch with a Nile view is included. Optional extras: Tutankhamun's tomb (+$20) and the Banana Island (+$20). Departures on Wednesdays and Sundays; other days available on request.
This is not simply a day trip - it is an immersion into 4,000 years of history in a single day. No other site in Egypt offers this depth and concentration of ancient monuments.

Luxor is something else entirely - nothing like Sharm or Cairo. You genuinely feel the age and scale of everything around you. The temples are enormous, the columns almost impossible to believe were ever built by human hands. The flight is short, so you arrive with plenty of energy. Our guide was excellent - engaging, informative, never boring. The Valley of the Kings was particularly striking, especially stepping inside the tombs themselves. This is not just an excursion - it is a genuine immersion in history.
We went without particularly high expectations - and Luxor completely surprised us. Everything feels powerful and monumental, a totally different atmosphere to anywhere else in Egypt. The organisation was impeccable - no frantic rushing around. The short flight is a massive advantage. Bring water and a hat - it gets genuinely hot. Our guide explained everything clearly without turning it into a lecture. Absolutely worth doing at least once.
Luxor is Egypt's history at its most serious. Karnak Temple is simply huge - no photograph captures its scale. Standing between columns that are 20 metres tall, you feel like a tiny dot in the universe. The wooden-boat crossing to the West Bank was magical. The Valley of the Kings has an atmosphere of mystery and history that is unlike anywhere else. The guide was wonderful - brought it all to life with genuine enthusiasm. The plane format is the only sensible choice.
The Valley of the Kings made the deepest impression - descending into a pharaoh's tomb and seeing original wall paintings that are 3,000 years old is impossible to describe adequately. Our guide explained every symbol, every scene on the walls. The Temple of Hatshepsut against the cliff backdrop is a sight all of its own. We flew - no regrets for a single minute. It is a long day and you do get tired, but it is absolutely, completely worth it.

✈️ Message on TelegramHere on the banks of the Nile, 4,000 years ago, stood Thebes - the magnificent capital of the New Kingdom, which Homer called "hundred-gated Thebes." Today Luxor is the world's greatest open-air museum. At every turn you encounter thousand-year-old temples, colossal statues, and the tombs of the pharaohs. No other city in Egypt has preserved such a concentration of ancient monuments.
The first stop is the Karnak Temple complex - not a single temple but an entire city of temples, built over 1,500 years by 30 successive pharaohs. The Great Hypostyle Hall with its 134 columns, standing up to 23 metres tall, is overwhelming even for seasoned travellers. The Sacred Lake, the avenue of ram-headed sphinxes, the granite obelisks of Hatshepsut - every corner of Karnak opens a new chapter of Egyptian history.
A wooden-boat crossing carries you to the West Bank - the side of the Nile that ancient Egyptians believed to be the realm of the dead. The Valley of the Kings holds the tombs of Ramesses II, Seti I, Thutmose III and other great rulers - you will enter 3–4 tombs included in the programme. The Temple of Hatshepsut, Egypt's first female pharaoh, is cut directly into the cliff and strikes with its severe, clean lines. The Colossi of Memnon - two 18-metre statues of Amenhotep III - complete your exploration of the West Bank.
The final stop is an alabaster and essential oils factory, where you can buy quality souvenirs directly from the craftspeople. Optionally, a detour to Banana Island through endless banana groves can be added (+$20). The return flight to Sharm and hotel transfer arrive approximately 20:00–23:00.
Luxor is rewarding year-round, but the best time is October to April, when temperatures sit at a comfortable 20–28°C. In summer it becomes genuinely extreme - up to 45°C. Flights typically depart on Wednesdays and Sundays; book at least 2–4 days ahead to secure a place.
Visa. A full Egyptian visa is required for Luxor. A Sinai-only stamp will not be accepted for boarding. If you only have a Sinai stamp, please ask our manager about arranging a full visa upgrade before departure.
Airport. Water and other liquids may be confiscated at Sharm El Sheikh security. Bring cash to purchase water on the plane or at Luxor airport. We recommend carrying a small amount of cash (dollars, euros or pounds) for optional ticket extras and souvenirs.
Clothing and kit. Planes can be cold - bring a light jacket. Temples require covered shoulders and knees. Essential items: closed-toe walking shoes, a sun hat, sunglasses, sunscreen SPF 50. A power bank is genuinely useful - it is a long day.
Health. Summer temperatures in Luxor can reach +45°C; in the shoulder seasons expect +25–35°C. Drink water regularly throughout the day. If you have chronic heart or blood pressure conditions, please consult your doctor before booking.
Yes - entry to Tutankhamun's tomb costs an additional 300–400 EGP. Inside you can see the original frescoes and the royal sarcophagus in situ.
We arrange a wooden-boat ferry crossing - a scenic, atmospheric journey with views of both banks of the Nile and the surrounding landscape.
Yes - an optional Banana Island stop can be added for $20. It is a beautiful spot for photographs among vast banana groves.
Alabaster figurines, papyrus scrolls with hieroglyphs, and aromatic oils are all popular. We stop at an alabaster factory where you can buy quality pieces directly from the craftspeople at fair prices.
