Hammam and SPA Programme in Sharm el-Sheikh - Description

The oriental hammam is one of the oldest traditions of body and soul care. In Sharm el-Sheikh you can experience it in full: warm marble, thick foam, the scent of oils and the quiet in which not only the body but also the mind truly unwinds.

This is not simply a massage, nor simply a steam bath. It is a complete 7-stage ritual carried out in a modern spa centre with English-speaking staff. First your body is warmed in the sauna and steam room - the skin opens and the pores are cleansed. Then the jacuzzi hydro-massage releases muscular tension. Next comes the traditional kese scrub, after which the skin is left silky smooth. And the centrepiece - a foam massage with rich, fragrant lather performed on warm marble.

The programme concludes with a classic body massage with oils and a nourishing face mask. Afterwards you step into the relaxation area, where tea or refreshments await - the moment when you wish you could stay forever.

Perfect after a long day of sightseeing - to ease tiredness, cleanse skin of salt and sun, and restore your energy. Couples often book the programme together - it becomes one of the most memorable highlights of the trip.

🌟 Ideal for: couples - a romantic day for two · after active excursions - to relieve tiredness · after long flights - to restore the body · anyone who loves the Eastern tradition of self-care · the perfect gift for yourself or someone special
🎒 What to bring: A swimsuit or underwear for the treatments, a comb, and hair products if you need them after the shower, plus a change of clothes if you wish. Towels, slippers and shower caps are provided.
Is it your first time in a hammam - should you be worried?

Not at all. The staff are English-speaking and guide you through every stage step by step. The temperature is gentle - around 40-60°C, suitable for almost everyone. Many guests visit for the first time and leave absolutely delighted.

Are there separate zones for men and women?

Yes. Separate men's and women's zones - everything is comfortable and discreet.

Can children take part?

Children aged 12 and over - $35, with an adapted programme. Hammam is not recommended for children under 12, though lighter treatments are available on request.

When is it better to go - morning or evening?

Evening is the best time, after a day at the sea and in the sun. The scrub cleanses the skin of salt beautifully, and the massage relieves the day's tiredness. Morning is a great option before an excursion, for a boost of energy.

Is prepayment required?

No. Payment is made on the day of the treatment at the venue.

More about the programme

The hammam is not simply a steam bath - it is an entire philosophy of self-care that has existed in Eastern culture for thousands of years. Unlike an ordinary sauna, the hammam is built on gradual warming and the progressive cleansing of the body - from steam through scrub to foam massage. Each stage prepares the body for the next, and the result is an effect that can never be achieved by a steam bath or massage alone.

The kese scrub is one of the key stages. A special mitt removes the dead layer of skin so gently that the treatment is entirely comfortable, yet the result is remarkable - afterwards the skin literally glows and feels many times softer. Particularly noticeable after a day in the sun and salt of the Red Sea.

The programme pairs beautifully with any excursion. Hammam after a quad-bike safari - to rinse off the desert dust. Hammam after a yacht trip - to ease the tiredness of a day at sea. Hammam on the final evening - to go home rested and renewed.
