On yachts, parachute rides, quad bikes, jeep safaris, Cairo, Petra, canyon trips - photographers are never part of our team. Any arrangement you make is directly between you and them.
Even if a photographer travels with you (for example, on a canyon or safari tour) - it is always a separate charge.
Before they start, be clear: how many photos, at what price, and for which location. It helps to repeat it back to them.
Ask directly: "Is this the final price? No extra charges afterwards?" 🙋
Do not pay in advance. First you receive the photos, then you pay. That is the golden rule.
If they send them to your phone, save them immediately or forward them to yourself (a messenger, cloud storage, email). Do not put it off.
Phone or Telegram - whatever works. This is important in case you need to follow up later.
The first price quoted is almost always inflated. You can often halve it or better - this is perfectly normal practice in Egypt.
Open a few photos before handing over any money: sharpness, lighting, editing. Quality can vary a great deal.
If the price suddenly changes, insist on the one you agreed. No aggression - just a clear, confident refusal. 💪
Occasionally photographers may become emotional or unpredictable. 😅
There have been cases where photos were deleted in the middle of a dispute. That is why the key principle is to agree everything in advance and save your photos immediately. 💾
